lOOK, i know these are already out but, I LOVE THEM!!! The June 7th, 1996 match up between Oscar De La Hoya and the reigning WBC Light Welterweight Champion Julio César Chávez, was once hailed “Ultimate Glory”. Hoya was the underdog fighting Julio César “The Lion of Culiacan” Chávez at the time, who was more than 10 years into professional boxing. But all that experience ultimately meant nothing. During the first minute of the round 1 a simple jab by De La Hoya opened an already existent wound above Chávez left eye, and eventually so much blood poured out that by round 4, the fight was stopped and the WBC Light Welterweight Title handed to De La Hoya.
So Nike has apparently teamed up with Nintendo to drop these Nike Air Force 2 Wii editions (which aren’t the first, second, nor third video game inspired shoes we’ve seen here), but we really don’t see how it pays homage to the world’s most popular console, other then the familiar blue power button on the tongue. The colorway includes white, metallic silver elephant, white leather with a translucent siding, and will be available to cop April 2009.

Here is a detailed look at the Back to the Future 2 - Nike Dunk High (Customs) which were created by 3R Customs. Everyone has at some point in their lives seen Back to the Future so its only right! Recently, a 3R Customs customer named sportfreak requested a pair of customs based off the original Back To The Future Dunks. Sole Jester from 3R Customs took his idea and inspiration from the colorful design off Marty’s lenticular hat which he wore in the sequel to Back To The Future. Surprisingly, there also happened to be a few surprised guests in town from the Back to the Future movies who stopped by to have a look at the Back to the Future 2 - Nike Dunk High (Customs). When the Co-Writer and Doc Brown saw them, they instantly fell in love! via 3R Customs.
WAIT NOT FV'S!!! These are a crazy custom Jordunks designed by Illego. Whats Phresh is besides for the sneakers themselves, is the custom box that Illego designed to go along with them. Starting with the box, Illego constructed it using the same fabric he used on a previous pair of custom sneakers known as the Criminal Minded Air Force Ones. The bottom panel of the box is made out of red satin and theres some embroidery on the side panel which includes the Air Jordan Jumpan logo along with Illegos name. Theres an embroidered logo on the satin red bottom panel as well. The sneakers were made using original Nike Air back pieces and an original Air Jordan III tongue from 2001. The heel panel and frontal was made using charcoal denim and designed with the elephant pattern to give a velvet finish to it. Lastly Illego added his tag to the back of the tongue. The sneakers along with the classy looking custom box makes for a very nice combo and something im sure a lot of Jordan fans can respect. Via: Sneaker Obsession
